About
Fabric & Pattern Designer

I am a designer with a deep fascination for printed textiles, colour, and place. After graduating with an MA in Printed Textiles from the Royal College of Art, London, in 2009, I went on to create original and commercially successful designs for the homeware and lifestyle market.

Originally from the north west of England, my work is shaped by the landscapes of my upbringing and my current interests- the rhythm of walking, the textures of naturalistic gardens, and a lifelong interest in the design legacy of New Order. These threads of culture, pattern, and mood continue to influence how I think about design and its emotional resonance.
Now based in Shipley, West Yorkshire, I divide my time between freelance studio practice, an emerging teaching career, and family life, balancing creative work with raising my young family, including a toddler and a baby on the way. I’m currently developing PhD research, and alongside this, I’m passionate about working with young people to spark curiosity and awareness of textile design as a vital, expressive, and sustainable discipline.
